# Do notifications replace email communications?

On Wikifarmer, notifications are designed to support and complement your experience, but they do not replace official email communications. These quick alerts help you stay informed without constantly checking your email.

However, email remains the primary and official channel for all formal communications on Wikifarmer. Emails include full details of your requests, offers, and transactions, as well as confirmations and any other essential information you may need to keep for your records. Since notifications are short and sometimes only highlight the main action required, they are not meant to replace the more detailed communication that arrives in your inbox.
