Who produces the products that I source? Who will invoice me?

What is the identity of vendors and how does invoicing work

The products available on Wikifarmer are produced by farmers, growers, and suppliers who use the platform to make their goods available to professional buyers. These producers are responsible for cultivating, preparing, and supplying the agricultural products that you see listed. Wikifarmer itself is not the producer of the goods but provides the marketplace that connects supply with demand.

However, when it comes to the commercial transaction, Wikifarmer is the seller of record. This means that although the products originate from independent producers, it is Wikifarmer that sells them to you. As a buyer, your business relationship is with Wikifarmer, and not directly with the individual supplier.

Because of this structure, Wikifarmer also issues the invoice for your purchases. The invoice is made out to your business, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements. This approach simplifies the process for buyers, since all transactions, payments, and documentation flow through one entity rather than multiple suppliers.

In this way, buyers benefit from both transparency about the origin of the products and the security of dealing directly with Wikifarmer as the contracting and invoicing party.
